Safari Tents for the popular glamping market and high luxury accommodation. We have a range of popular sizes but we often work with clients to develop a size and interior layout based on their intended market and the overall experience they wish to offer their guests. Our permanent Safari Tents lend themselves to a wide range of settings. From farm shops or cafes through to exclusive event and entertainment spaces, we can design the perfect structure of almost any size. Unique shared social spaces, or hospitality venues such as a shooting lodge or more flexible outdoor hospitality. Our larger, unique-framed clearspan canvas structures are more commercial in nature and suited to many uses. From exclusive event and wedding venues through to huge unique festival spaces and more. These structures allow event organisers or wedding venues to offer a style beyond the standard marquee offering and create a more sophisticated ambiance. T h e S a f a r i Te n t s Our steel-framed range of Safari Tents is designed around a box-section galvanised steel frame, comprised of the most robust structural-grade premium British steel. We have worked with UK based structural engineers for many years to ensure all our safari tents are built to the highest of standards, have the greatest possible wind-load rating and meet BS standards and European guidelines for both permanent and demountable structures. All of our structures have a full Structural Engineers Report. In conjunction with our engineers BOND can also provide a postcode specific search for any location to determine historical windspeed data, giving clients greater peace of mind. Any structure can be customised to suit our clients preferred design using CAD, automated precision cutting and hand finished detailing by our skilled team at our Gloucestershire factory. Our steel framed Safari Tents are available in sizes from 5m—9m wide and up to 18m long. This style of safari tent is very versatile and designed to be a permanent structure. Proud to be a true British Manufacturer we take great care to source materials from other British suppliers where possible. Available in several widths, the safari tents are incredibly spacious and can be customised to suit the clients desired interior layout and finish. We have 3 popular sizes demonstrated in the floorplans here, yet since we manufacture to order the tents can be produced in any length up to 18m. Our safari tents offer clients the opportunity to create highly unique custom interiors. We are happy to work with clients on the interior layout to obtain the best use of the space and also to produce something quite special. No two projects or locations are the same. The imposing Master Safari Lodge, just like our Safari Tents, is based on a structural-grade galvanised steel frame. It is a versatile and popular structure that is suitable for both larger luxury glamping accommodation and also general outdoor hospitality settings. Starting at 6m x 10m and available in larger custom sizes, this handsome Master Safari Lodge has a very flexible, bright and open space allowing for a variety of interior arrangements. For luxury glamping accommodation the structure lends itself to a spacious 4 bedroomed layout with each of the bedrooms having dual aspect as shown in the example floorplan. A rear porch can also be added which is a useful space to house a bathroom, and we are always open to supporting bespoke design solutions. The Master Safari Lodge is also a great choice for a wide range of hospitality venues and shared social spaces. There are several design options to give the space greater appeal such as large panoramic windows and the facility to fully roll up the canvas walls allowing the interior space to flow seamlessly into the outdoors. At Bond we have a practical and creative approach to each project and the whole team thrive on a challenge. With our in-house CAD design capabilities, automated precision cutting and a skilled design and manufacturing team, we are known and respected throughout the industry for our bespoke service and willingness to offer something other than standard. We use a variety of frame types dependant on each location and we make each structure to order with a choice of technical outdoor fabrics. Producing visual CAD perspectives allows the client to fully immerse themselves in the design process with no surprises. Clients are very welcome to visit our factory near Stroud, Gloucestershire to understand the manufacturing process and finalise designs. De s i g n & P rod u c t i o n The process starts by understanding our clients ideas, requirements and any technical issues that need to be solved. Whether it’s a huge bespoke canvas structure for an event venue, or glamping tents on a working farm; we treat each project with the same drive and commitment. Site surveys are often required and clients are always welcome to visit the factory too. Once we have an established all of our clients needs we get to work on the design. Bond have been designing canvas structures for over 35 years and our team have a wealth of experience. Using our CAD tools we can not only create the perfect fit but also provide our clients with that all important visual tool to understand both the design style and also the scale and proportions both inside and out. Both our smaller glamping safari tents and also our large structures can be secured to either a hard standing or a bespoke built wooden deck. We can either provide our clients team with the decking plans, or our own skilled carpentry team will build the decks. Our team also provides bespoke built carpentry elements for the interior fit out of our tents. Since we manufacture all structures in-house, we have complete control of the materials used which is most important for the frames. Our structural engineers ensure that we use the correct frame type for the location, size and use. We use either premium structural-grade steel frames, aluminium profile clearspan frames or tubular aluminium … all are designed by us and manufactured here in the UK.
The Bond production process relies on technology, automation and also the experience and skill of our dedicated team. All materials are inspected throughout the process to maintain the quality we are renowned for. Our team work collaboratively throughout the design and manufacture process, meeting design requirements and improving the process continuously. When the time arrives for installation we have everything covered and always involve our clients every step of the way. Our team can take care of the complete installation or we also offer the option for us to lead your own team. For larger projects and complex structures we also work with various specialist installation crews across the UK, though we remain in complete control of the project. Due to the nature of our canvas structures there are many elements that are handmade, thus requiring both skill and an eye for detail. Our team of machinists are committed to quality and style, and are heavily involved in the development of projects that require their knowledge and expertise, particularly if a prototype is required. This is not the end of the journey though … at Bond we pride ourselves on the many lasting relationships we have with our clients. Bond do not insist on paid maintenance contracts but instead respond to each individual need as it arises. Many clients will go years without the need for a repair … but we are always here to respond.
