Pippa & James at Glynn Barton already had a fantastic business with a selection of beautifully restored cottages and were keen to add a couple of Luxury Safari Tents. They had a clear vision of what they wanted to offer their guests and really did go to town on the overall finishes!

What sort of base do the Safari Tents require?

Most of our safari tents are installed onto a wooden deck. This will need to be exterior grade pressure treated timber decking. We have a skilled team of carpenters who build the decks for most of our clients so we are happy to put you in touch. Some clients wish to build their own deck so we will supply you with decking plans dependant on the size of tent you are installing. The important thing to consider is that the box-section steel frame is anchored onto the top face of the deck. Of course we are always on hand to advise and support. Some clients need to install the tents onto a concrete base, in this case we offer special footplates.

Often there are more bespoke solutions required for each location and we are well equipped to advise and also supply the correct equipment since we manufacture all structures to order at our UK factory. If you have any questions just give us a call, or take a look at the FAQs on our website.
