Phew! August 2022 was a hot one, how to keep your tents cool …
For an English summer this one was a scorcher, sadly not the best news for our hard working farmers, but of course glamping customers will be happy they took a staycation!
When clients first order their tents from us we typically suggest at least 2 of the windows should be ‘opening’ windows. So with our safari tents this means that instead of the clear element being fixed, we have an insect mesh that is fixed and the clear element can roll up on the outside of the tent. This means when the tent is closed for the night there is plenty of air moving through.
Of course during the day guests can roll the whole front wall of the tent up creating both a cool environment and also a huge shaded area expanding the living area out onto the front deck. This in itself is a unique feature of our tents and one our clients and their visitors love!
