licensees of a village pub in Gloucestershire wanted to
increase the space they had available to enable them to
hold larger functions. We supplied a 30’ x 20’ tubular frame
marquee with a weatherproof join to the existing building.
They are delighted with the boost in trade it has brought. |

As long-established manufacturers of marquees to the hire trade,
we have extensive experience of producing durable structures
that are individually designed to meet our customers’ specific
needs. We have been making specialist marquees for hotels, restaurants
and pubs for a number of years and have found that our customers
are delighted at the increased space they have available, often
enabling them to double their number of restaurant covers or
to allow them to take bookings for large functions. The marquee
is also often specifically requested by customers for parties
or weddings, making it a valuable addition to the mix on offer.

These marquees offer exceptionally rapid payback potential.
For example, a typical 20' x 30' marquee which accommodates
40 people, if used twice a week, could give an average additional
spend of £10 per person (drinks only), bringing additional
revenue of £400 and additional profit of £250 for
each of the two functions. At this level of use, the marquee
would be cash positive in less than 3 months if bought outright.
It could also be leased for as little as £37 per week
over 36 months. A larger marquee, seating 65, could cost around
£45 per week over the same time span. Extra space really can mean extra profits with an XTent! |

Attractive, robust and easy to install, an XTent marquee can be joined to an existing building with a watertight seal to form an extension which is entered through French windows or an outside door. Alternatively, it can be used to cover a courtyard or space between buildings, or erected freestanding with a covered walkway. In good weather, if required, the side walls can be wound up using our specially designed winding mechanism, or completely removed for al fresco dining or for the marquee to double as a highly cost-effective smoking shelter. |

As a supplier of all the main types of marquee we are ideally
placed to provide whichever type of XTent marquee will best
suit your needs. For medium sized applications our easy-erect
tubular frame marquee will probably provide the best and most
economic solution. For bigger areas you may wish to opt for
one of our sectional frame marquees. In both cases the covers
are made from a flame-retardant coated pvc fabric with the outer
surfaces 100% welded to ensure a completely watertight finish.

A restaurant chain in the north of England wanted to cover
a terrace at one of its sites, a modern lakeside building,
to increase space, but still needed to be able to offer
outside dining in summer. Bond Fabrications designed, manufactured
and erected four linked tubular frame marquees, fully lined
and guttered and with removable sides. These were attached
to the building along the length of the rear side. The area
was immediately used for functions over Christmas and the
New Year and has proved a great draw.

A south London pub needed a small function area for Christmas events and chose a 15' x 20' tubular structure with adjoining walkway. With the new smoking regulations it is now planned to use the structure with the walls opened as a smokers’ area. |

A pub in Surrey had an open sided roofed terrace with a completely open area alongside both of which were being under-utilised. Bond was asked to cover the open area and to design an elegant system of opening sides for the roofed section. The bespoke design that we came up with (pictured above) gave the delighted publican about 800 square feet of extra space usable all year round. |
