Walls

The padded wall panels are 75mm thick and made from 96kg/m³ bonded chip foam backed with a heavy duty durable wooden board and covered with a waterproof 900gsm PVC fabric. This fabric is reinforced with tough nylon close-weave, providing a tear strength of 450-500N (DIN 53363) and a tensile specification of 4000-4200N/50mm (DIN 53354). It is designed to last for years and can be scrubbed and hosed down.

The standard size of our wall panels is 1.2m x 2.4m, but they can be made to fit any requirements. Close-fitting pads with wide-angled corners which avoid any possibility of trapping can also be provided if wished. Pads can be designed and manufactured with cut-out areas to safely accommodate catches for opening the doors and also observation windows set into the door panels.

Floor

There are two types of floor available. The first comprises chip foam panels (144kg/m³) fully encapsulated in heavy-duty PVC. This type of floor is usually less expensive to install and is readily removable panel by panel, which has the advantage of making it reparable in sections in the event of damage. The alternative is a triple-layered floor comprising 50mm impact absorbing foam, bonded to the sub floor, a 0.5mm thick core spun nylon bonded to the foam underlay, and 6mm thick rubber bonded to the nylon with sealed joints. These floors have excellent resistance to cutting, tearing and abrasion. The floor lining extends to the foot of the wall joining the wall lining.
