Our linings are made to order from a wide selection of inherently flame-retardant fabrics (certified to BS 5867 Part 2 B) in a variety of finishes and colours. The most commonly used fabric is 68 gsm polyester trevira  and we will provide swatches of the 22 colours available on request. Our other standard fabric is 145 gsm  polyester trevira in white or ecru, usually chosen for plain linings where a more matt appearance is desired.  We are happy to source more unusual lining fabrics, for example silver lamé, velvet, voile, ‘shimmerlite’ and blackout fabric and indeed can produce linings in any flame-retardant material - patterned or plain - of the customer’s choice.

Our standard range includes plain, pleated or ruched linings covering walls, roofs, gable ends and bell ends. In order to soften the interior of a tent with an exterior gable we can also provide a hipped interior roof lining.

All our join details and attachment systems have been very carefully thought out to ensure the best possible finished appearance combined with easy erection and handling. For example, our larger span linings would normally incorporate a Velcro ridge join to allow the two halves to be split for ease of laundering. This also has the advantage of enabling lighting and fittings to be placed anywhere along the ridge.  We also supply wall weights, lining bars and pulleys as required.

In order to adapt or enhance the widely used and flexible ivory linings we provide a full range of coloured accessories including wall and roof overlays, window drapes and valances. Valances can be supplied in standard swags, gatherered pelmet-stlyle or flat for straight clean lines.
We also make drapes to cover frame legs - for example when two tubular frame marquees are used side by side or without walls - and pole covers for traditional pole tents. We can match any details on standard sections to ensure complete compatibility with existing stock.

As with our PVC covers, we frequently undertake bespoke work, for example to produce linings to transform high-ceilinged sports halls and social clubs into attractive venues for functions. If required, we will make a visit to assess the site and to advise on the best method of lining and installation.

For marquee customers wishing to supply some particular design or pattern of their own choice, we also offer a bespoke making-up service. For those wishing to install single-use ‘tack off’ linings for unusual applications or special events we supply semi-finished roof and wall panels to any desired specification.
